This iron works well. It straightens hair and provides excellent shine. After reading most of the reviews and viewiong all of the amazing pictures, i thought  I must buy a GHD! I was so excited to go home and put it to use. I plugged it in and waited for it to heat up. The green power light began to blink and shut off. I felt the iron was somewhat hot so I tried passing it through my hair. I  have horrible frizzy hair that everyone made fun of. Then I found Sedu. For a while i was debating GHD, the results are just awsome. I never imagined that I could have such smooth hait without chemical straightning!!
